Meet Ophelia. She is. 3 year old female spayed Persian. She is scheduled for a dental and to have her nares done. She is a little timid at first, but curious. Once she warms up she will give very gentle head boops. She loves to roam around the room and find cozy beds to lay in. ... See MoreSee Less
Miss Penelope Jean is getting a dental and her nares done then she will be ready for adoption. We are now accepting apps on this sweet, happy, purr bucket. She is like a limp noodle when you hold her.
Fluffy Shark update. He ended up not having his procedure done because after we premed him this morning, I didn’t realize I had left his water bowl in his kennel, one of my coworkers happened to look at him and rushed over as he had his face down in his water bowl and his meds had full on kicked in. This happened in minutes. Dr Gerard from Guardian Veterinary Care went into full Emergency mode along with My coworkers Heather and Ashley and got our little man breathing normal again, his tongue went from bluish purple back to pink, they reversed his sedation and got his catheter in. This all happened so fast. They saved his life. We are so grateful. He is now home (pretty out of it) he ate some dinner and is snuggling with his little momma Gerty. Thank you everyone for keeping him in your thoughts this morning. I believe that helped save his life.
We will keep a very close eye on him tonight. When it rains it pours. Lovey (our dachshund) fell off the couch last night and had to come into the clinic for pain meds, Suki has been very stressed out by having 4 new cats invade her space that she has diarrhea and vomiting, MarshaMellow is having a reaction to her vaccine and currently has a temperature of 105. Hopefully everyone takes a turn for the better over the weekend. ... See MoreSee Less
Please keep Fluffy Shark in your thoughts today as he is having biopsies take. Of his GI tract and liver. He is a very sensitive old man, hence we are very nervous. For those of you who don’t know Fluffy Shark. He is from Panda Paws Rescue and he is part of our own pack. He is 12!! ... See MoreSee Less

Fluffy Shark update. He ended up not having his procedure done because after we premed him this morning, I didn’t realize I had left his water bowl in his kennel, one of my coworkers happened to look at him and rushed over as he had his face down in his water bowl and his meds had full on kicked in. This happened in minutes.
